The top 10 players returning to the Temple Owls for the 2020 college football season.
Important to note that this list is based upon last year's data and film from on each specific team as well as judgment based upon the player's position both his skill and the level of talent around him at the said position and influential cohorts. Positional value also plays a large factor in these rankings as does the offensive or defensive scheme.
1. Anthony Russo, QB
2. Christian Braswell, CB
3. Re'Mahn Davis, RB
4. Jadan Blue, WR
5. Linwood Crump, CB
6. Ifeanyi Maijeh, DI
7. Branden Mack, WR
8. Daniel Archibong, DI
9. Isaac Moore, T
10. Isaiah Graham-Mobley, LB
Honorable Mention: Adam Klein, T; Freddie Johnson, CB
If you haven't seen Russo connect on a deep ball, you've missed out on one of the prettier deep balls in college football. He's a huge gunslinger who can make mistakes at times but when given a clean pocket, he can dissect a defense.
Braswell is silently up there with the best cornerbacks in the conference. He's sticky in man or zone, as difficult as the latter is to be labeled 'sticky' in.
Davis had an incredible year a season ago but with departing offensive line talent, 2020 is the prove-it year for him as he'll have to do a ton more work on his own this season. Blue is fast and Mack is huge, both representing top targets for Russo.
Then there's Maijeh and Archibong who can do it all from the inside and Crump who presents a terrific outside option at cornerback.
