The top 10 players returning to the Boston College Eagles for the 2020 college football season.
Important to note that this list is based upon last year's data and film from on each specific team as well as judgment based upon the player's position both his skill and the level of talent around him at the said position and influential cohorts. Positional value also plays a large factor in these rankings as does the offensive or defensive scheme.
1. Tyler Vrabel, OT
2. David Bailey, RB
3. Brandon Sebastian, CB
4. Max Richardson, LB
5. Hunter Long, TE
6. Zay Flowers, WR
7. Alec Lindstrom, C
8. Kobay White, WR
9. Zion Johnson, G
10. Mike Palmer, S
Vrabel played a ton during his redshirt freshman season a year ago and should blossom into one of the conference's top left tackle prospects. He's rock-solid in pass protection, moving well with his feet and oily hips but also at the point of contact with superior hand strength for his size.
Bailey is a bruising running back that makes AJ Dillon look small at times. Some of his highlight-reel runs look like a cheat code in Madden.
Sebastian and Richarson anchor the defense as Sebastian should once again be a force in the PBU game and Richardson a menace to opposing offensive rushing attacks. Richardson also possesses a strong pass-rushing skillset, so seeing that utilized more in 2020, should be a priority.
The wildcard is Flowers and his utilization moving forward under a new coach. Flowers is every bit the most talented player on the field when he steps on it, but it remains to be seen how he'll be utilized. If he gets the ball as much as he should -- he'll skyrocket up these lists.
