Thoughts

  • BYU at 14 seems criminal. Especially behind a two loss Iowa State team that has a loss to Louisiana.

  • Cincinnati and the AAC got a huge vote of confidence by being at seventh. With the Bearcats only playing conference teams, this could be a sign that the committee respects the conference more than we realized.

  • Georgia at ninth is arguably the most bizarre ranking of everyone.

  • Clemson controls its own destiny still being ranked third with one loss. Will they get jumped by Ohio State ever? At this rate with the Big Ten's struggles, it seems unlikely but you never know.

  • Breakdown by conference SEC- 5 B1G- 5 Big 12- 4 ACC- 3 IND- 2 AAC- 2 Pac 12- 2 Sun Belt- 1 CUSA- 1
